This morning, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby for your boat tour of Perast and Kotor.
Your first stop along your journey will be in the port town of Perast, where you will visit the island “Lady of the Rocks”. Perast represents the best-preserved entity of this part of the Adriatic. Due to the development of maritime and trade in the 17th and 18th centuries, the town grew with many new palaces and churches. Later, continue your journey to Kotor. Located at the head of a deep fjord, Kotor’s fortified Old Town was strategically built at the foot of a high cliff and is today protected by UNESCO. The fortified Old Townbears similarities with the one in Dubrovnik but is smaller and more idyllic in some ways. The best way to explore this very compact part of town is to simply allow yourself to get lost in the maze of narrow streets and small squares and to wander around admiring the historic buildings.
