Independent Travel or Small Group?

Some people like their own company, others prefer to travel in company; whichever way is your preferred travel style, Exeter International is here to assist.  For those interested in group tours, Exeter International offers guaranteed departures and a maximum of 20 travelers per departure. 

On all Exeter International tours, you have the option of being with the group at all times or venturing independently.  If you don't want to join the group to look at a painted ceiling, rather you want to strike out on your own, then that's no problem. We have created an enticing selection of itineraries through Russia and Eastern Europe for those who prefer small groups and they are detailed in the Grand Tours section of our website.

For those who are a bit more independent, a private program with Exeter International is about exploring what has not yet been experienced by you, the individual (it is all about you!).  Within the regions that we cover, you can explore whatever it is that you might have long wanted to know more about – Romanian monasteries, porcelain factories in Hungary, the last home of Nicholas II and Alexandra. 

We can design a travel itinerary for you that takes you to all of the places that are on your must-see list, and suggest to you some places which you might not know about.  Exeter International will provide you with your own guide and expert, someone who knows the territory well, even if your interests take you to the medieval centre of Brasov, or the island of Korcula.

Perhaps you don't have a specific program in mind, just an interest to see a particular city or region; then we will try to open as many closed doors for you as possible. We can escort you backstage at the Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg, we can get you into the Grand Kremlin Palace and Terem in Moscow, even into the library of the Strahov Monastery in Prague.  Private travel with Exeter International is all about exploration.
